How to install an eSIM on Android
eSIM Installation Guide
Android devices (Android 10+)
Welcome to Oracces! This guide will walk you through the steps to install your eSIM on your Android device. Installation only takes a few minutes and requires no special technical skills.
Before we begin
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Your Android device is eSIM compatible
- Android 10 (or later) is installed
- You are connected to the Internet (WiFi recommended)
- Your phone is not carrier locked.
- You have received your Oracces activation email with the link or QR code.
Compatible Android devices (examples):
Method 1: Installation via link (Recommended)
This is the simplest and fastest method. The link in your email automatically configures your eSIM!
Open the Oracces email
Open the confirmation email you received from Oracces on your Android smartphone.
Locate the "Install my eSIM" button.

Click the button below to install your eSIM in seconds.
Click the install button
Press the "Install my eSIM" button directly from your Android smartphone.
Your phone will automatically open the settings with the information pre-filled.

Confirm installation
A confirmation screen will appear with the details of your Oracces package.
- Check the displayed information
- Click on "Download" or "Add"

- Please wait while the eSIM profile is being downloaded (30 to 60 seconds)
- The eSIM is installed automatically
- Press "OK" or "Done" when activation is complete.

Method 2: Installation via QR Code
If you prefer to use a QR code or if the link is not working, follow these steps:
Open Settings
Open the Settings app on your Android phone.

Access Network Options
The path may vary depending on your phone brand:
- Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Google Pixel: Settings > Network & Internet > SIM cards
- Other: Settings > Network & Internet > SIM or Mobile Cards

Add a mobile plan
Search and tap on:
- "Add a mobile plan"
- or "Add an eSIM card"
- or "Add an operator"

Scan the QR Code
- Select "Scan QR code"
- Point your camera at the QR code received by email.
- Wait for the QR code to be detected automatically.

Activate the package
- Click on "Download" or "Activate"
- Please wait while the eSIM profile is being downloaded (30 to 60 seconds)
- Press "OK" or "Done" when activation is complete.

Method 3: Manual Installation
If neither the link nor the QR code works, use the manual method:
In Settings > Connections > SIM card manager , tap Add mobile plan .
Select "Enter activation code" or "Enter manually" .
Enter the information provided in your email:

Press "Add" or "Next" and then wait for activation.
Configuration after installation
Once your eSIM is installed, you will need to configure it to use it:
Rename your eSIM
To better identify your Oracces plan:
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap on your new eSIM
- Select SIM card name or Rename
- Choose a name (e.g., Oracces Voyage )
Enable mobile data
To use the internet with your eSIM:
- In Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Select Mobile data
- Choose your Oracces line
- Activate Mobile Data
Enable roaming
- Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks
- Select your Oracces line
- Enable Data Roaming
Check that everything works
To ensure your eSIM is installed correctly:
- Check that the name of your Oracces operator appears at the top of the screen.
- Turn off WiFi and try opening a website
- Check your data usage in Settings
- The signal bars must be visible
Common problems and solutions
❌ The eSIM does not activate
Solutions to try:
- Check that you have a stable internet connection (WiFi).
- Restart your phone
- Make sure your phone is not carrier locked
- Check that your device is eSIM compatible
- Contact our support team if the problem persists.
📶 No network or mobile data
Check the following points:
- Data roaming is enabled for your Oracces line
- Mobile data is enabled
- The Oracces eSIM line is selected as the data SIM card
- Airplane mode is off
- Your plan still has data available
- Try manually selecting a network operator
📷 The QR code cannot be scanned
Try these solutions:
- Increase the brightness of the screen displaying the QR code
- Clean your camera lens
- Make sure the QR code is complete and not cut off
- Hold your phone about 20-30 cm from the QR code
- Use the manual installation method
⚠️ Error message "Unable to download"
This message may appear if:
- The QR code or link has already been used (an eSIM can only be installed once).
- Your device does not support eSIMs
- The eSIM profile is invalid or expired.
- Your internet connection is unstable
🔄 The eSIM is installed but not connecting
Solutions:
- Restart your phone
- Turn Airplane mode off and then back on.
- Check that the APN is correctly configured (usually automatically)
- Manually select a network: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators
