eSIM Installation Guide
Android Devices (Android 10+)
Welcome to Oracces! This guide walks you through every step to install your eSIM on your Android device. Installation only takes a few minutes and requires no technical expertise.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following conditions are met:
- Your Android device is eSIM compatible
- Android 10 or later is installed
- You are connected to the internet (Wi-Fi recommended)
- Your phone is not carrier-locked
- You have received your Oracces activation email with the link or QR Code
Compatible Android devices (examples):
Method 1: Installation via Link (Recommended)
This is the simplest and fastest method. The link in your email automatically configures your eSIM!
Open the Oracces email
Open the confirmation email you received from Oracces on your Android smartphone.
Look for the "Install my eSIM" button.

Click the button below to install your eSIM in seconds.
Click the install button
Tap directly on the "Install my eSIM" button from your Android smartphone.
Your phone will automatically open the settings with pre-filled information.

Confirm the installation
A confirmation screen displays the details of your Oracces plan.
- Check the information displayed
- Tap "Download" or "Add"

- Wait while the eSIM profile downloads (30 to 60 seconds)
- The eSIM installs automatically
- Tap "OK" or "Done" when activation is complete

Method 2: Installation via QR Code
If you prefer to use a QR Code or if the link does not work, follow these steps:
Open Settings
Open the Settings app on your Android phone.

Access Network options
The path may vary depending on your phone brand:
- Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager
- Google Pixel: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs
- Other brands: Settings > Network & Internet > SIM cards or Mobile

Add a mobile plan
Look for and tap:
- "Add mobile plan"
- or "Add eSIM"
- or "Add carrier"

Scan the QR Code
- Select "Scan QR code"
- Point your camera at the QR Code received by email
- Wait for the QR Code to be automatically detected

Activate the plan
- Tap "Download" or "Activate"
- Wait while the eSIM profile downloads (30 to 60 seconds)
- Tap "OK" or "Done" when activation is complete

Method 3: Manual Installation
If neither the link nor the QR Code works, use the manual method:
In Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager, tap Add mobile plan.
Select "Enter activation code" or "Enter manually".
Enter the information provided in your email:

Tap "Add" or "Next" and wait for activation.
Post-Installation Setup
Once your eSIM is installed, you will need to configure it to use it:
Rename your eSIM
To better identify your Oracces plan:
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager
- Tap your new eSIM
- Select SIM card name or Rename
- Choose a name (e.g. Oracces Travel)
Enable Mobile Data
To use the internet with your eSIM:
- In Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager
- Select Mobile data
- Choose your Oracces line
- Enable Mobile data
Enable Roaming
- Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks
- Select your Oracces line
- Enable Data roaming or Roaming
Verify Everything Works
To make sure your eSIM is properly installed:
- Check that the Oracces carrier name appears at the top of your screen
- Turn off Wi-Fi and try to open a website
- Check your data usage in Settings
- Signal bars should be visible
Common Issues and Solutions
❌ The eSIM does not activate
Solutions to try:
- Check that you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi)
- Restart your phone
- Make sure your phone is not carrier-locked
- Verify that your device is eSIM compatible
- Contact our support if the problem persists
📶 No network or mobile data
Check the following:
- Data roaming is enabled for your Oracces line
- Mobile data is enabled
- The Oracces eSIM line is selected as the data SIM
- Airplane mode is disabled
- Your plan still has data available
- Try manually selecting a network carrier
📷 QR Code won't scan
Try these solutions:
- Increase the brightness of the screen displaying the QR Code
- Clean your camera lens
- Make sure the QR Code is complete and not cropped
- Hold your phone approximately 20–30 cm from the QR Code
- Use the manual installation method
⚠️ Error message "Unable to download"
This message may appear if:
- The QR Code or link has already been used (an eSIM can only be installed once)
- Your device does not support eSIM
- The eSIM profile is invalid or expired
- Your internet connection is unstable
🔄 eSIM is installed but won't connect
Solutions:
- Restart your phone
- Toggle Airplane mode on and off
- Check that the APN is correctly configured (usually automatic)
- Manually select a network: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators
