eSIM Installation Guide
iPad with iPadOS 16+
Welcome to Oracces! This guide walks you through every step to install your eSIM on your iPad. Installation only takes a few minutes and requires no technical expertise.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following conditions are met:
- Your iPad is eSIM compatible (Wi-Fi + Cellular models)
- iPadOS 16 or later is installed
- You are connected to the internet (Wi-Fi recommended)
- Your iPad is not carrier-locked
- You have received your Oracces activation email with the link or QR Code
Method 1: Installation via Link (Recommended)
This is the simplest and fastest method. The link in your email automatically configures your eSIM!
Open the Oracces email
Open the confirmation email you received from Oracces on your iPad.
Look for the "Install my eSIM" button.

Click the button below to install your eSIM in seconds.
Click the install button
Tap directly on the "Install my eSIM" button from your iPad.
Your iPad will automatically open the eSIM settings with pre-filled information.

Confirm the installation
A confirmation screen displays the details of your Oracces plan.
- Check the information displayed
- Tap "Add a Data Plan"

- The eSIM installs automatically
- Tap "OK" when activation is complete

Method 2: Installation via QR Code
If you prefer to use a QR Code or if the link does not work, follow these steps:
Open Settings
Open the Settings app (grey icon with gears).

Access Cellular options
In Settings, tap Cellular Data.

Add a data plan
Tap Add a Data Plan or Add eSIM.

Scan the QR Code
- Choose "Use a QR Code"
- Point your rear camera at the QR Code received by email
- Wait for the QR Code to be automatically detected

Activate the plan
- Tap "Add a Data Plan"
- Wait while the eSIM profile downloads (approximately 30 seconds)
- Tap "OK" when activation is complete

This may take up to 30 seconds
Method 3: Manual Installation
If neither the link nor the QR Code works, use the manual method:
In Settings > Cellular Data, tap Add a Data Plan.
Tap "Enter Details Manually" at the bottom of the screen.
Enter the information provided in your email:

Tap "Next" and wait for activation.
Post-Installation Setup
Once your eSIM is installed, you will need to configure it to use it:
Rename your eSIM
To better identify your Oracces plan:
- Go to Settings > Cellular Data
- Tap your new eSIM line
- Select Data Plan Label
- Choose a name (e.g. Oracces Travel)
Enable Cellular Data
To use the internet with your eSIM:
- In Settings > Cellular Data
- Enable Cellular Data
- Your iPad will automatically use your Oracces eSIM for data
Enable Roaming
- Go to Settings > Cellular Data
- Tap your Oracces line
- Enable Data Roaming
Verify Everything Works
To make sure your eSIM is properly installed:
- Check that your carrier name appears in the status bar
- Turn off Wi-Fi and try to open a website
- Check your data usage in Settings > Cellular Data
- Signal bars should be visible
Common Issues and Solutions
❌ The eSIM does not activate
Solutions to try:
- Check that you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi)
- Restart your iPad
- Make sure your iPad is not carrier-locked
- Check that you have a Wi-Fi + Cellular model (not Wi-Fi only)
- Contact our support if the problem persists
📶 No network or cellular data
Check the following:
- Data roaming is enabled
- Cellular data is enabled
- Airplane mode is disabled
- Your plan still has data available
- Reset network settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings
📷 QR Code won't scan
Try these solutions:
- Increase the brightness of the screen displaying the QR Code
- Clean your iPad's rear camera lens
- Make sure the QR Code is complete and not cropped
- Hold your iPad approximately 20–30 cm from the QR Code
- Use the manual installation method
⚠️ Error message "Unable to install"
This message may appear if:
- The QR Code or link has already been used (an eSIM can only be installed once)
- Your iPad is a Wi-Fi only model (no Cellular)
- The eSIM profile is invalid or expired
- Your internet connection is unstable
🔄 My iPad detects no network
Solutions:
- Toggle Airplane mode on and off
- Restart your iPad
- Check that you are in an area covered by a compatible carrier
- Wait a few minutes for the iPad to connect to the network
