eSIM Installation Guide

Welcome to Oracces! This guide walks you through every step to install your eSIM on your iPhone. Installation only takes a few minutes and requires no technical expertise.

Before You Begin

Make sure the following conditions are met:

  • Your iPhone is eSIM compatible (iPhone XS, XR or newer)
  • iOS 18 or later is installed
  • You are connected to the internet (Wi-Fi recommended)
  • Your iPhone is not carrier-locked
  • You have received your Oracces activation email with the link or QR Code
💡 Important: The eSIM can only be installed once. Make sure to follow all steps carefully before starting the installation.

Method 1: Installation via Link (Recommended)

Method 2: Installation via QR Code

If you prefer to use a QR Code or if the link does not work, follow these steps:

Open Settings

Open the Settings app (grey icon with gears).

Access Cellular options

In Settings, tap Cellular or Mobile Data.

Add a cellular plan

Tap Add Cellular Plan or Add eSIM.

Scan the QR Code

  • Choose "Use QR Code"
  • Point your camera at the QR Code received by email
  • Wait for the QR Code to be automatically detected

💡 Tip: If you have difficulty scanning, increase the screen brightness and make sure the QR Code is fully visible and not cropped.

Activate the plan

  • Tap "Add Cellular Plan"
  • Wait while the eSIM profile downloads (approximately 30 seconds)
  • Tap "OK" when activation is complete

Method 3: Manual Installation

If neither the link nor the QR Code works, use the manual method:

In Settings > Cellular, tap Add Cellular Plan.

Tap "Enter Details Manually" at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the information provided in your email:

SM-DP+ Address Provided in your email
Activation Code Code provided in your email
Confirmation Code If required, code provided in your email

Tap "Next" and wait for activation.

Post-Installation Setup

Once your eSIM is installed, you will need to configure it to use it:

Rename your eSIM

To better identify your Oracces plan:

  • Go to Settings > Cellular
  • Tap your new eSIM line
  • Select Cellular Plan Label
  • Choose a name (e.g. Oracces Travel)

Enable Mobile Data

To use the internet with your eSIM:

  • In Settings > Cellular
  • Tap Cellular Data
  • Select your Oracces line

Enable Roaming

⚠️ Important: Roaming must be enabled to use your Oracces eSIM abroad.
  • Go to Settings > Cellular
  • Tap your Oracces line
  • Enable Data Roaming

Verify Everything Works

To make sure your eSIM is properly installed:

  • Check that your carrier name appears at the top of your screen
  • Try to open a website or an app
  • Check your data usage in Settings > Cellular
✅ Everything works! You can now enjoy your internet connection with Oracces.

Common Issues and Solutions

❌ The eSIM does not activate

Solutions to try:

  • Check that you have a stable internet connection
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Make sure your iPhone is not carrier-locked
  • Contact our support if the problem persists

📶 No network or mobile data

Check the following:

  • Data roaming is enabled
  • The Oracces eSIM line is selected for mobile data
  • Airplane mode is disabled
  • Your plan still has data available

📷 QR Code won't scan

Try these solutions:

  • Increase the brightness of the screen displaying the QR Code
  • Clean your camera lens
  • Make sure the QR Code is complete and not cropped
  • Use the manual installation method

⚠️ Error message "Unable to install"

This message may appear if:

  • The QR Code or link has already been used (an eSIM can only be installed once)
  • Your iPhone does not support eSIM
  • The eSIM profile is invalid or expired
